Job summary

University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for the Porter - Rehabilitation Therapies department in Middlebury, VT. The role involves administration and direct application of SLP treatment modalities for patients referred by physicians, with emphasis on restoring function and maximizing independence.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current state licensure, and BCLS certification, with a day shift and 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college.
• Current State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for administration and direct application of Speech-Language Pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician.
• Evaluates, plans, directs and treats all patients referred to Speech-Language Pathology.
• Participates in performance improvement activities within the department and CQI activities.
• Performs some administrative duties at the delegation of the Rehabilitation Services Director.
