To provide Speech Language Pathology services (evaluation, treatment plan development, treatment, and discharge planning) to patients in the acute care setting in accordance with facility policy, standards, and philosophy.

Education requirements: Master's Degree from an accredited SLP program.
Work experience requirements: Prefer 1 year experience in acute care setting but not required.
Required licenses/ certifications/courses: Current SC license, Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP), BLS.
Required skills, knowledge and abilities: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Effective interpersonal skills. Clinical competence in speech/language and dysphagia. Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessments by the facility.
