Central Business Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for in-facility patient care in Camden, ME.

The successful candidate will assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders, design individualized plans, and work closely with the rehab team to promote patient independence. You will educate patients and caregivers, document progress, and adapt plans as patients improve.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized speech-language pathology plans for patients.
• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and remediation for communication and swallowing disorders.
• Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to promote independence and functional communication.
• Collaborate with rehab team members to coordinate patient care and goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes for each patient.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized to support patient care.
• Advocate for patients and refer to additional services as needed.

• As a Speech Language Pathologist, you help patients get their power back. You are the person who can help people communicate, swallow, and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits. In doing this, you take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services, you design the plan, and work with patients to execute those plans.

• You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual, and you know your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their speech and communication abilities.
