Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for inpatients and outpatients at Providence Centralia Hospital and through contractual speech/language services. The role focuses on diagnosing and treating speech, language and swallowing disorders, and on educating staff, patients and families to support recovery.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an ASHA-approved Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Washington SLP license required by hire.
  • BLS Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association by hire.

  • Provides diagnostic and therapeutic treatment to patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders.
  • Educates staff, patients and families relative to diagnosed disorders.

Education

Provides diagnostic and therapeutic treatment to patients who exhibit speech language or swallowing disorders and are inpatients or outpatients of Providence Centralia Hospital or are seen through contractual speech/language services. Education of staff, patients and family is emphasized relative to diagnosed speech language or swallowing disorder.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's Degree: A graduate of a program approved by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Washington Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Wage Details

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
