Beth Israel Lahey Health in Massachusetts is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our clinical team. You will assess adults with neurogenic speech, language, and swallowing disorders, design individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and care teams to improve patient outcomes.
This position requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, MA licensure, and at least two years of relevant experience.

Days will be typically two Saturdays a month anywhere from 4-8 hours depending on caseload,and coverage for staff vacations which may be any day/s Sunday through Friday. Sick coverage would be helpful if someone if free last minute.
Contributes to the Hospital’s mission to care, heal and to excel in service to our community by planning, preparing and carrying out individually designed programs of speech therapy treatment to improve or restore function and enhance patient outcomes. This clinical staff professional will have an impact on improving patient care and patient satisfaction by skillfully and empathetically treating patients with a variety of diagnoses.
Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program
Current licensure to practice speech/language pathology from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Two years work experience with adults with neurogenic speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Good oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and other healthcare providers.
Strong organization and time management skills to independently manage patient case load.
Ability to attend to detail more than 60% of the work time.
Prior acute care and dysphagia experience strongly preferred

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geographyof work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
