Job summary

Personal Touch Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to deliver in-home therapy for pediatrics and adults across Staten Island, NY. This 1099 contracted role offers fee-for-service visits and flexible scheduling within a supportive team.

You will evaluate and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, with emphasis on improving quality of life in patients’ own homes. Licensure in NY is required and prior home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must have graduated from an accredited Speech Therapist college or university.
  • Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
  • Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.
  • Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
  • Prefer two (2) years of appropriate experience as an occupational therapist. Home health experience is preferred.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Provide therapy to individuals of all ages, addressing issues such as articulation, fluency, voice, and language.

Personal Touch Home Care is expanding our Special Needs Program and seeking compassionate Speech Language Pathologists who are passionate about delivering high-quality care in the home setting.

This is fee-for-service position, paid per visit and this is a 1099, contracted position. In order to be considered for this position, you MUST have a valid and active license in the state of NY.

Job Overview

As a Speech Therapist with Personal Touch Home Care, you'll be responsible for evaluating and treating individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them improve their communication skills and quality of life. You will also provide rehabilitative services to patients who are unable to travel to a clinic or hospital.
