CHRISTUS Health seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose and treat speech, language and swallowing disorders in a hospital setting. You will develop and monitor care plans, collaborate with families and the interdisciplinary team, and supervise therapy modalities as needed.

Requirements include an M.S./M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology, NM licensure and BLS, and at least two years post CFY experience, with dysphagia experience preferred.

Formación

• M.S./M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current NM Speech-Language Pathology license and BLS certification.
• Minimum two years post CFY clinical experience; dysphagia preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and monitor individualized care plans with families and team.
• Administer and supervise speech therapy modalities and evaluations.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists and nursing for patient progress.
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation and progress notes.
• Promote quality improvement and adherence to licensure requirements.
