Job summary

LiriCare is building a pool of qualified Speech-Language Pathologists for anticipated school-based opportunities in Mesquite, Texas for the 2026–2027 school year.

We are looking to connect with licensed SLPs who may be interested in full-time or part-time assignments supporting students across a range of communication needs.

Opportunities are school-based within the Mesquite area, with details discussed as positions become available.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Active Texas SLP license or eligibility to obtain one is required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Provide individual and group therapy to students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams.
• Maintain progress notes, evaluations, and required documentation.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Support students across speech, language, fluency, voice, and communication needs.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license, or eligibility to obtain one
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred
• School-based experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Availability during the 2026–2027 school year
