Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation is seeking licensed Speech Language Pathologists to deliver one-on-one care to older adults in private homes, senior living communities, and related sites in Marshalltown, IA. You will develop plans of care, conduct evaluations, and provide evidence-based treatment.

Take part in a flexible schedule, collaborate with PT/OT/SLP teams, and use telehealth when appropriate to reach more patients while maintaining high clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for a state Speech Language Pathology license.
• Current CPR certification required.
• CCC certification or eligibility required; degree from accredited SLP program required.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence‑based treatment

• Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Fitness Specialists
• Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place
• Provide telehealth / virtual care when appropriate to extend access and flexibility

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency
• Current CPR certification
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCC)

Physical Requirements

• FOX clinicians must be able to meet the physical demands of in‑home and community‑based care, including:
  • Exerting medium physical effort, including lifting 25-50 lbs occasionally, 10-25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly
  • Performing CPR
  • Providing moderate to maximum assistance with patient transfers and bed mobility
  • Repositioning patients, standing/walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities
  • Driving to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls model
  • Wearing PPE when required
