Job summary

EDU-AIDs LLC in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist/Special Education Teacher to support students with speech and language disorders. The role emphasizes delivering direct therapy, creating individualized plans, and collaborating with IEP teams to meet diverse learning needs.

Applicants should have a valid state SLP license, a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, and experience with children.

Qualifications

• Valid state SLP license.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or required by some employers.
• Experience working with children or students with disabilities.
• Strong communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct evaluations and prepare assessment reports.
• Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations.
• Support students with AAC needs.
