Job description

Start an exciting contract assignment as a Speech Language Pathologist serving a diverse student population near San Marcos, TX. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students across grade levels, from PK to 12th grade, including support for a unique 18 program. Travel SLPs are encouraged to apply, and assignments will be tailored based on your expertise and campus preferences.

What we're seeking:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure and SLP-CCC certification
• School-based SLP experience preferred
• Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for diverse student needs
• Ability to work with caseloads of approximately 60 students
• Flexibility working across grade levels (PK-12), with campus assignments based on strengths and preferences
• Commitment to a full-time, onsite-only schedule (no teletherapy/voco at this time)
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students needing speech and language support
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
• Manage documentation in compliance with state, federal, and district requirements
• Support students on 1-2 assigned campuses to maximize progress and generalization of skills
• Adapt interventions for a wide range of abilities, including students in PK, elementary, middle, high school, and transition programs

The assignment runs from August 6th to May 28th, offering full-time hours (37.5 per week) for the entire school year.
