Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Kent, WA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students' communication growth in a school setting near Kent, WA. The contract is full-time (37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday) for the full 26/27 school year, August through June, onsite at an elementary and a middle school with an itinerant caseload of about 30 students.

Responsibilities include delivering direct SLP services, evaluating students, developing IEPs, and maintaining documentation in line with district

Qualifications

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for Washington State.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) welcomed.
• Experience working in school-based environments supporting diverse student needs.
• Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other service providers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy and support to students across assigned schools.
• Conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in alignment with district and state requirements.
• Serve as a resource to school staff and families, consulting on communication strategies and accommodations.
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.

Compensation

Compensation for this position ranges from $40.00 to $85.00.
