Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in the New Orleans area for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, onsite contract role involves providing direct services across multiple campuses with caseload determined prior to assignment.

You will collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized therapy plans, conduct assessments, and contribute to IEP goals within a supportive educational setting.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Louisiana.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification is preferred.
  • Previous school-based experience is a plus; all qualified SLPs encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to pass district credentialing protocols, including drug screening and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech and language services to students, focusing on IEP goals.
  • Conduct assessments and develop data-driven therapy plans for students across a range of age groups.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to support students' educational and therapeutic needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Work Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, following the school district calendar.
