Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services to K-8 students with communication disorders in a Bridgeport, CT area school. This contract role covers maternity leave and offers a diverse elementary caseload with strong support and resources.

You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, serving roughly 40 students in a single location while focusing on moderate to profound communication needs.

Qualifications

• CT SLP licensure is required.
• SLP-CCC from ASHA is required.
• Experience with K-8 students is preferred.
• Familiarity with AAC devices is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language services to a K-8 caseload in a school setting.
• Work with a focused group of students with moderate to profound communication needs.

Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Connecticut
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Prior experience with K-8 student populations strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices required

Credentials/Certifications Required:

• Current, valid Connecticut SLP licensure
• SLP-CCC from ASHA

Job Details:

• Contract assignment from 09/16/2026 through 01/31/2027
• Schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
