Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech and language needs within our inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will develop individualized plans and work with a multidisciplinary team to drive meaningful communication improvements.

Responsibilities include assessing progress, adjusting treatment as needed, and documenting outcomes. A commitment to compassionate care and patient-centered goals is essential, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required (ASHA).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
