Job summary

Center Management Group is seeking a Speech Language Therapist (SLP) to diagnose and treat speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders. Responsibilities include documenting patient treatments and monitoring responses to ensure effective care.

The ideal candidate will have a current license in Pennsylvania and the Certificate of Clinical Competence. Experience in SNF or long-term care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers.
• Measure & record patient’s communicative, cognitive, and swallowing functions.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and make modifications during treatment sessions.
• Code information for billing purposes; perform daily billing.
• Complete documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.

Skills

SNF/Long term care experience

Current knowledge of treatment practices

Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System

Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities

Education

Current License as Speech Language Therapist in Pennsylvania

Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association
