Job summary

Providence Seaside Home Health seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver skilled therapy in patients’ homes across Clatsop and parts of Tillamook counties. This part-time position offers daytime hours and requires strong evaluation and treatment skills with autonomous work within a collaborative care team.

You will develop patient-centered care plans, document progress, and coordinate with physicians and nurses to maximize function and independence for diverse patients.

Qualifications

  • Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • PhD in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent education/experience.
  • Oregon SLP license required on hire.
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled SLP services to home health patients.
  • Evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with care team to optimize patient independence.

Location: This position is responsible for Clatsop and part of Tillamook County


Job Description:


The Speech Therapist manages and provides skilled speech/language pathology to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient special physical or age-related needs. Requires skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential.

Required Qualifications:



  • Master's Degree from an accredited Speech/Language Pathology Program, Or

  • Ph.D. from an accredited Speech/Language Pathology Program or equivalent education/ experience.

  • Coursework/Training: Specialized speech/language pathology training to meet a particular department need.

  • Oregon Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire.

  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

  • Occasionally a position will require specialized speech/language pathology experience to meet a particular department need.
