Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join the Big Island Visits team, serving clients in their homes on a per diem basis. You will craft treatment plans, perform evaluations, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help clients maintain independence and quality of life.

Position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional growth with BAYADA's clinical support and recognition programs.

Qualifications

• A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Hawaii.
• One year experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose and provide therapeutic interventions for clients who are experiencing, speech, language, communication or swallowing difficulties.
• Develop a treatment plan based on the evaluation, physician’s orders and recommended goals.
• Continually assess and revise the speech therapy care plan and participate with BAYADA Clinicians in the multidisciplinary care plan, as appropriate.
• Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other patient representatives, in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety and independent living.
• Accurately document observations, interventions and evaluations pertaining to patient care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Big Island Visits team. SLP’s work with clients in their home, craft treatment plans, and apply innovative techniques to help them reach their goals. You will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to remain at home. How You’ll Make an Impact

Type: Per Diem
Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation: $80-$90 per point
