Job summary

The Orchards at Wayne in Wayne, Michigan is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to enhance communication and swallowing abilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CFY completed or eligible for CFY.
• Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication, swallowing, and cognitive functional deficits
• Provide speech, language, and cognitive therapy to residents in individual and group sessions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, and therapy sessions
