Job summary

WellStar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for the Enterprise Support Team (WEST) Float Pool. You will collaborate with physicians to assess and evolve care plans, and engage patients and families to set meaningful goals.

You will deliver engaging treatment plans, keep detailed, compliant notes, and support multiple teams across the network. This full-time role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, a valid SLP license, and BLS, with at least 2 years

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 2+ years as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a hospital setting.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with physicians to assess and evolve speech, language, cognition, and swallowing care plans.
  • Create and implement engaging treatment plans that drive progress and refine goals as needed.
  • Maintain clear, organized documentation and ensure compliance with departmental guidelines.

Assess & Collaborate: You will collaborate closely with physicians to assess and continually evolve speech, language, cognition, and swallowing care plans. Plus, you will engage with patients and families to create customized goals that get results.

Create Meaningful Change: Develop and implement fun, interactive treatment plans that inspire progress! You will revisit and refine goals to ensure patients are always supported, educated, and empowered. Every small win adds up to BIG results!

Stay on Track: Keep everything running smoothly by maintaining clear, organized documentation. Your notes will ensure that each session is as impactful as the last—and you will ensure compliance with all departmental guidelines.

Required Qualifications:
Education:
  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (from an accredited program) required.
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience:
  • 2+ years as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a hospital setting required.
Skills:
