Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics seeks a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas to assess and support students’ communication needs within educational settings. You will conduct evaluations, develop evidence-based interventions, and deliver therapy or supervise assistants aligned with IEP goals.

You’ll communicate findings to families and district staff, maintain detailed records, and collaborate with ARD to tailor services.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
  • Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.
  • Communicate findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
  • Develop interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
  • Provide therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
  • Monitor progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
  • Support team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
