Qualifications

• Active Kansas SLP license required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Familiarity with Net Health documentation system is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services addressing communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders.
• Deliver skilled therapy services in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Evaluate, treat, and modify individualized care plans based on resident progress.
• Assess and document residents’ speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing function.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, strategies, and safe swallowing techniques.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with company policies and state regulations.
• Communicate resident progress and clinical observations with the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in care planning meetings and collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services to address communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders
