Job summary

A leading neurorehabilitation provider in Escondido seeks a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join their Home and Community Program. Qualifications

• Minimum Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR Certification per state regulations.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to neurological injuries preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written interactions.
• Physical capability to lift 50 pounds, and assist patients up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech and cognitive disorders.
• Re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans and attend relevant meetings.
• Communicate patient needs to the treatment team and family.
• Perform discharge evaluations and recommend community safety resources.
