Achieve Beyond in Fairfax, VA is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our pediatric therapy team. The role offers part-time and full-time caseloads in a clinic setting with a flexible schedule and ongoing supervision.

You will evaluate and treat children birth to 21, collaborate with families and professionals, and contribute to a supportive, ethical service culture while using our paperless systems and shared goals.

Formación

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• 1–2 years of experience with children birth to 21 preferred; training available.
• Must hold VA state license to practice Speech Therapy.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement speech-language evaluations and treatment plans.
• Educate families on intervention strategies to promote carryover at home and in the community.
• Clinics-based setting with collaboration from supervisors and staff.
• Maintain records and submit progress reports on schedule.

Job Responsibilities For a Speech Language Pathologist

• Work involves developmental screening/assessment, speech therapy services and consultation with family members and other professionals working with the family.
• Educate family members and caregivers on different intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over at community settings.
• Work is performed in clinic based settings
• Follow Individualized Service Plan, plan ongoing treatment, and interprets goals and treatment plan to parents and makes recommendations for further developmental assessments as needed
• Participate in monthly agency staff meeting
• Prepares progress reports at six month intervals and annual reviews
• Maintains client records and submit them to agency within established deadlines.
• Other duties assigned by immediate supervisor within scope of work.

Requirements For a Speech Language Pathologist

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• 1-2 years of experience working with children birth 21 is preferred, we are open to training new graduates
• Must possess VA state license to practice Speech Therapy
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus!

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to:
• Driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.

Compensation depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

$5,000 sign on bonus included for full-time

$2,000 sign on bonus included for part-time
