Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL seeks a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and re-evaluate patients, planning and delivering a treatment program for cognitive, motor speech, language fluency, voice, and swallowing. Documentation, charting, and PI monitoring are part of the role.

Full-time with benefits. Requirements include MA/MS in Speech Pathology and CFY completion, Florida licensure, and experience in inpatient rehab or acute care with FIM knowledge.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in Speech/Language Pathology required.
• CFY completion required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations with tests and measurements.
• Set functional, realistic and measurable goals with patient progress.
• Design functional treatment plans reflecting prescribed therapy and reimbursement issues.
• Re-evaluate and discharge patients within appropriate time frames.
