Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents in a skilled nursing setting in North Augusta, SC. You will develop individualized plans to maximize independence and quality of life, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support resident-centered care.

Responsibilities include treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, maintaining regulatory documentation, and celebrating resident milestones.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current state SLP license is required.
• CCC-SLP is preferred; CFYs are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation is a plus.
• Positive attitude with strong communication skills and a passion for helping others thrive.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and quality of life.
• Assess swallowing disorders to ensure safe eating and drinking.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families for resident-centered care.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Celebrate milestones and encourage residents to achieve meaningful goals.
