Job summary

You will develop and implement Individual Education Plans, coordinate with teachers and specialists, and maintain compliance with all regulations, while ensuring confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Idaho Pupil Personnel Services Certificate with Speech Language Pathologist endorsement.
• Valid Idaho driver's license; own transportation and mileage may be reimbursed.
• Ability to work with students, staff, parents, and the public.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of assessment and remediation of speech and language disorders.
• Identifies and refers students for related services.
• Coordinates and participates in IEP Team meetings.
• Develops and implements IEPs and therapy plans.
• Maintains data collection for evaluating student progress and Medicaid billing.
• Communicates progress to students, parents and staff regularly.
• Upcoming professional development and ethical confidentiality standards.
