Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital in Wheaton, IL is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a 0.8 FTE, exempt position. You will provide direct patient care, participate in teaching and department improvements, and collaborate with therapists and treating staff to optimize care.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology, IL licensure, and BLS certification; CCC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Speech Pathologist License in the State of Illinois.
• BLS from American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates NM values of teamwork, patients first, integrity, and excellence in daily work.
• Provides direct patient care and participates in education and committee activities.
• Collaborates with treating staff to maintain patient plans of care and ensure timely documentation.
• Maintains documentation in the EMR and completes daily notes reflecting patient responses.
