Job summary

Broad River Rehab in Dayton, OH is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents in a skilled nursing setting.

The role offers a full-time schedule (4-5 days, 30-40 hours/week) with a $5,000 bonus, plus part-time openings and CFY welcome. The ideal candidate holds an active state license and ASHA certification or CFY, and will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize residents' communication and swallowing abilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a state SLP license.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA Certification required or CFY welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents under physician orders using a variety of speech therapy procedures.
• Utilize assistive devices to maximize residents’ functional communication.
• Collaborate with care team in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will evaluate and treat residents, under orders from a physician, using a variety of speech therapeutic procedures and assistive devices intended to maximize functional potential in all areas of a resident’s life.
