Job summary

River Kids Texas is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for a full-time position in Austin, TX within Therapy services. The assistant will work under a licensed SLP to deliver speech and language interventions, perform observations and data collection, and support AAC and alternative communication methods.

Responsibilities include maintaining progress records, coordinating with the SLP weekly, and ensuring documentation is co-signed.

Qualifications

• Current Texas SLP Assistant license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication, Speech and Language Pathology or related field, or completion of an approved SLP Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervising SLP in speech and language interventions for clients with disabilities (excluding feeding and swallowing).
• Provide services for clients in home settings including screening, observation, instruction and data collection.
• Implement goals from the supervising SLP to deliver speech and language interventions.
• Support communication programming including oral, written, manual, AAC, and assistive technology.
