Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to provide direct speech-language services to K-12 students under the supervision of a licensed SLP in Lafayette, IN.

You will support treatment plan implementation, document student progress, and help students achieve communication goals while collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams. The role offers CEU/license reimbursement and tuition assistance, plus full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Current SLPA license or certification in the state (or eligibility to obtain).
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background check.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education services.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech therapy services to students aligned with IEP goals under the supervision of an SLP.
• Assist in implementing treatment plans and documenting student progress toward established goals.
• Support the SLP in conducting screenings, data collection, and informal assessments.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to reinforce communication strategies across environments.
• Maintain accurate and compliant therapy notes, service logs, and progress documentation.
• Prepare therapy materials and adapt activities to meet individual student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions as appropriate.

What You'll Do:

What We're Looking For:

• Must Have: Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Current SLPA license or certification in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain)

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Preferred: One year of experience in a school or pediatric setting
• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education services
