TheraPeds LLC is seeking a full-time on-site Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based position in Hot Springs, South Dakota. You will provide direct therapy to PreK–12 students, perform screeners, monitor progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists, educators, and parents.

The role requires ASHA-certified SLPA credentials, state licensure as required, and fingerprint clearance.

Job Description and Responsibilities

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serving a school located in Hot Springs, SD. The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting screeners, monitoring progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

• Full-time 36 hours/week
• August 2026 - May 2027
• 4 days/week
• K ? 8 grades
• On-site, in-person
• Job Duties: direct therapy, consultation, planning, collaboration with SLP supervisor
• Guaranteed Hours, including documentation, administrative and planning time
• Dual support from the District and TheraPeds
• Manageable caseloads
• $40? $55+/hour ($1440-$1980/week+)

Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
