Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Current state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant as required by state regulations.
• Pediatric experience preferred and strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities designed by the supervising SLP.
• Collect and record accurate data on client performance and progress.
• Prepare and organize therapy materials, activities, and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with all professional, ethical, and legal standards.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation (daily notes, progress reports, discharge summaries).
• Communicate with families regarding strategies, progress, and home activities.
• Conduct developmental screenings and reassessments.
• Attend team meetings and supervision sessions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
