Qualifications

• Education: High School or equivalent; graduate of accredited SLP program per CA SLP Board requirements.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in California; CFY may be considered.

• Communicates appropriately with the referring physician.
• Communicates with patients and others adequately and appropriately.
• Completes all required documentation.
• Develops appropriate treatment plans.
• Evaluates patients and defines measurable goals.
• Implements treatment programs to professional standards.
• Monitors progress toward therapy goals.
• Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and care.
• May participate in orientation of new staff, students and volunteers.
• Performs routine tasks to maintain a clean, safe work area.
