Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Richardson, TX seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for PRN shifts. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver speech-language therapy, including evaluation, treatment planning and discharge planning for assigned patients.

The role emphasizes clear communication, patient-centered care, professional growth, and ongoing quality improvement in a fast-paced hospital setting. BLS, TX license, and SLP credentials are required or in process.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification required.
• Required Texas license or temporary license to practice.
• 1 year licensed SLP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly with patients and families.
• Provide professional speech-language pathology evaluations and treatment plans.
• Deliver direct and indirect patient care per SLP Act/Rules.
• Reassess progress and plan discharge when appropriate.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Required Valid Texas License or temporary license
• 1 year licensed SLP experience preferred.
