Job Overview

We are currently accepting applications for immediate opportunities and the 2025-2026 school year. Aspire Public Schools is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to support our students' communication needs.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide direct, individual, and small group speech and language instruction as outlined in students' IEPs.
  2. Collaborate with team members, parents, and service providers to review data, ensure IEP implementation, and co-plan/co-teach.
  3. Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students receiving related services.
  4. Assess, screen, and deliver speech and language services in accordance with standards.
  5. Maintain accurate records, files, and reports as required by regulations.
  6. Stay informed of current special education regulations and meet IDEA requirements.
  7. Support equitable access to curriculum for students with disabilities by developing appropriate instructional strategies.
  8. Assist with health and mobility supports under supervision, including supporting students with toileting, feeding, and mobility needs.
  9. Track weekly IEP services and adhere to all deadlines.
  10. Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and collaborate for input.
  11. Coordinate with outside providers as appropriate, with parental consent.
  12. Provide oversight and support to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology credential or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with students in a school setting.
  • Ability to pass the Department of Justice background check and provide health clearance.
Compensation & Benefits

The salary range is $96,017 to $162,879, based on experience. Benefits include paid time off, comprehensive health coverage, life insurance, retirement plan participation, tuition reimbursement, and adoption assistance.
