Adventist Health in Willits, California is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services for patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and prefers ASHA CCC. You will be an integral member of an interdisciplinary care team, supporting high-quality patient care in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or foreign equivalent.
• Two years' speech language pathology experience (preferred).
• Licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of practice is required.
• CPR or BLS certification is required per AH policy.
• ASHA CCC certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient information before evaluations and during course of treatment.
• Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments.
• Assists in data collection of patient outcomes.
• Instructs and directs support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts.
• Supervises assistants and support staff.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience

• Master's Degree or foreign equivalent: Required
• Two years' speech language pathology experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Preferred

Facility Specific License/Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
