Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to assess and address students' communication needs within educational settings. You will evaluate, plan, and deliver therapy, or supervise assistants to implement IEP goals, ensuring progress and accountability.

Role requires TX licensure, CCC-SLP, and a Master’s degree in SLP; bilingual skills are a plus. Competitive hourly pay and flexible part-time/full-time/as-needed options are offered.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Active Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate speech-language needs and identify therapy requirements.
  • Communicate findings to parents and district personnel with clarity and compassion.
  • Collaborate with ARD committee to develop evidence-based interventions.

Your Role:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges and thrive in their educational settings. Here’s how you’ll contribute:

Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.

Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.

Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.

Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.

Monitor Progress:Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.

Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
