Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team of rehabilitation therapists serving senior living communities.

You will evaluate and treat swallowing and communication disorders, develop goals and treatment programs, and collaborate with the care team to implement plan of care. We offer a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays, a comprehensive benefits package, licensure reimbursement, CEUs, and opportunities for career advancement

Qualifications

• Masters degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or ability to obtain prior to starting.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop/implement SLP programs based on full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients as part of a coordinated team under medical orders.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate the plan of care for patients.
• Treat residents one-on-one with individualized, function-based treatment.

Position requirements:

USD $41.00 - USD $48.00 /Hr.
