Milestones Children’s Center is hiring a Preschool Speech Language Pathologist in Pulaski, NY. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support speech, language, and swallowing needs for children aged 33 months to 5 years.

You’ll collaborate with Special Education Teachers, Lead Preschool Teachers, OTs, PTs, School Psychologist and Teacher Assistants, documenting progress in a paperless EHR. This full-time/part-time role offers benefits and a career focus on early childhood speech therapy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Support and develop speech, language and swallowing needs for preschoolers (33 months–5 years).
Collaborate with teachers, PTs, OTs and School Psychologist to support each child’s treatment.
Document session notes, care plans and progress in the EHR with accuracy.
Provide guidance on SLP workflows and tools to improve and grow the program.
Maintain NYS SLP license and Teacher Certification to support families.
Attend care team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary learning.

About This Role

We are on the lookout for a Speech Language Pathologist to join our preschool team. In this role, you will work with our phenomenal team of Special Education Teachers, Certified Lead Preschool Teachers, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, School Psychologist, and Certified Teacher Assistants to support the children in our care.

_Provide exceptional care:_ support and develop the speech, language, and swallowing needs for preschool children, ages 33 months to 5 years. (80% time)

Support all aspects of each preschool child's treatment by collaborating with other care team members including Special Education Teachers, PTs, OTs, and School Psychologist.
Document your work including session notes, care plans and ongoing progress with high levels of accuracy and timeliness in our paperless electronic health record system.

_Support innovation and growth:_ provide instrumental guidance on our SLP workflows and tools to help us improve and grow. (15% time)

Engage in testing, iterating and feedback to help develop our SLP programing.
Maintain your NYS SLP license and Speech Teacher Certification to continue to support families that trust us with their child’s care.

_Collaborate with your peers:_ come to care team meetings ready to learn, teach, and communicate. (5% time)
