Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Tusculum, TN. You will provide therapy services, conduct assessments, and develop IEPs in collaboration with educators and parents.

The role involves managing a manageable caseload, guaranteed hours, and close support from the district and TheraPeds. Prior experience in schools and familiarity with IDEA requirements are a plus.

Qualifications

TheraPeds Partners is a therapist-owned and operated organization. We partner with schools to provide Speech Language Pathology (SLP) services to PreK–12 students nationwide. This is a full-time, on-site role as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a school located in Tusculum, TN.

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
• State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
• Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
• National License: ASHA
• Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
• CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
• CF-SLP placement may be available
• Experience working with children
• Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in use of technology

Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
