HealthPro Heritage in Stamford, CT invites a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to join its team at Benchmark at Stamford. The role offers an hourly range of $55-$60 and a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, evidence-based treatments, and collaborative care across settings. A valid SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
• Certification: ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate speech, language, voice and swallowing using standardized tests and observations.
• Treatment and Education: Implement evidence-based therapies and educate patients and families.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records ensuring compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations. Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.
• Treatment and Education: Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
• Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
