Job summary

Mercy in Springfield, MO seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs in accordance with department policies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current or provisional SLP license in applicable state.
• ASHA certification within 1 year of hire; BLS current.
• Ability to respond to emergencies.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience; age-diverse patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs per policy.
• Deliver individualized therapy plans and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Respond to emergency situations as required.

Job description

Position Details

• Education: Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
• Licensure: Current or provisional Speech Language Pathologist license in applicable State of practice.

Experience

• Certifications: Certification from American Speech and Hearing Association within 1 year of hire, extension at discretion of leader and clinical fellowship supervisor. BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.
• Other: Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• Preferred Experience: One year of experience. Experience in caring for patients of all ages preferred.
