Job summary

Nurses and More, Inc. is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in outpatient rehab. The role pays $51.30/hour with overtime potential and weekly gross pay of $2,070, with licensure in Kentucky required and acute care rehab experience preferred.

Responsibilities include direct patient care for inpatients and outpatients, comprehensive documentation, family counseling, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Travel stipend and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Active ASHA CCC-SLP certification is required; CFYs not accepted for this travel contract.
• Kentucky SLP License or eligibility to obtain ASLP-IC Compact Privilege.

Speech Language Pathologist - Outpatient Rehab

Thirteen Week Travel Contract - $2070 per week (estimated gross pay)

Monday - Friday 8AM-4:30PM in Pikeville, KY

Pay: $51.30/hour with overtime opportunity every 4th weekend in-patient rehab.

Must have license with the Kentucky Board of Speech and Language Pathology

Must have inpatient / acute care rehab experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Plans and provides direct speech language pathology care to inpatients and outpatients of all ages


• Completes necessary documentation related to patient evaluation and treatment


• Provides counseling and education to patients and their families


• Participates in planning, developing and preparing new programs, services, processes, polices, procedures, forms and organizational improvement.


• Contacts, consults and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and referral sources


• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology


• Active ASHA CCC-SLP (No CFYs for this specific travel contract)


• Kentucky SLP License or eligibility to obtain ASLP-IC Compact Privilege


• 1+ years of acute care rehab experience
