Please click here to learn more about our locations.**Job Description**The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) engages in the professional practice of communication and swallowing in an outpatient clinic setting. You will provide evaluations, treatment plans, education and training to meet the cognitive, communication and swallowing needs of our patients. **Key Responsibilities:*** Upon receiving a licensed independent practitioner referral, implements a systematic patient examination and evaluation utilizing a comprehensive, patient and family-centered approach to decision making incorporating national standards and the AMA CPT codes.* SLP will design, develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address presenting symptoms or concerns of a communication and/or swallowing problem or related functional issue to optimize function.* Makes appropriate discharge plans by collaborating with patients, their families, care management, and community resources such as schools/outside therapy clinics, and actively participating in multidisciplinary meetings.* Supports risk management and compliance initiatives through accurate thorough documentation.**Required Qualifications:*** Masters degree in Speech Pathology* Licensed in state of practice* Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC's)**Preferred Qualifications:*** 1 year experience in a pediatric setting* Bilingual English/SpanishCompensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
