Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year in San Antonio, TX. You will provide speech-language therapy to K-12 students in school settings, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy aligned with IEP goals, collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

CF-SLPs are encouraged to apply as supervision and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain).
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning. In-person, school-based role.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members
• Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation
• Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable)

What We're Looking For:

Must Have:

• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain)

Preferred:

• One year of experience in speech therapy
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
• Experience with school-based caseload management
