Job summary

Eleutheria is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide school-based therapy in Porterville, CA. You’ll assess students, develop IEP-aligned plans, and deliver direct services to improve communication in K-12 settings.

The role partners with teachers and families, includes supervision of SLPAs where applicable, and offers benefits, CEU support, 401(k) matching, and year-round coverage. Competitive pay: 60–75 USD/hr for full-time work during the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews.
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
• Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable).

About the Role:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 school settings. What We're Looking For:

Must Have:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred:

• One year of experience in speech therapy
• Department of Education certification
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
• Experience with school-based caseload management
