Job summary

The Hope Learning Center is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with autism, developmental delays, and other learning challenges in a Pittsburgh, PA school setting. You will mentor students and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality assessment, documentation, and compliant service delivery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required for eligibility to practice as a School-Based SLP.
• PA credentials required or eligible to obtain PA licensure.
• CCC-SLP certification required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality treatment, documentation, and compliance.

Education

Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology or Communication Disorders

PA Instructional 1 Teaching Certificate OR PA Educational Specialist

PA State SLP License

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology

One year of progressive experience as an SLP

Experience working with developmental delays (Preferred)

Experience working in a school setting (Preferred)

Overview

Core Tasks of the Speech-Language Pathologist: The School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist will provide Speech-Language mentorship while servicing students with autism, developmental delays, and other learning disabilities while working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality treatment, documentation, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania Instructional 1 Teaching Certificate OR PA Educational Specialist
• PA State SLP License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
• One year of progressive experience as an SLP
• Experience working with individuals with developmental delays (Preferred)
• Experience working in a school setting (Preferred)
