QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree from an accredited college/university for speech pathology with endorsement code 215
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) issued by the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Valid Mississippi educator license issued by the Mississippi Department of Education’s Office of Licensure with necessary endorsement to be "Highly Qualified" as a Language/Speech Pathologist
• Commitment to student-centered learning
• Interpersonal skills in working with students, professional colleagues, administration, parents, and community
• Strong written and oral communication skills: grammar, spelling, punctuation
• Good physical condition with ability to lift 10 pounds

LENGTH OF CONTRACT

187 days per school year (as determined by job assignment) – Certified/Exempt

SALARY

Commensurate with the Ocean Springs Salary Schedule for certified positions for the 2026‑2027 school year
