Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in North Aurora, IL is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our growing team in a SNF setting. You will evaluate and treat patients according to an individualized plan of care developed after evaluation.

You will administer standardized speech-language assessments, conduct swallowing evaluations, develop treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with patients, families, and the treatment team to support communication and swallowing

Qualifications

• Qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (ASHA) with relevant state licensure.
• Experience in SNF or long-term care settings preferred.
• Proficient in standardized speech-language assessments and swallow evaluations.

In this role, you’ll evaluate and treat patients by following an individualized plan of care following an evaluation.

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate in a SNF setting.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills work well with others and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information.
• Experience with administering standardized speech/language assessments, conduct swallowing evaluations, developing treatment plans and monitoring patients' progress.
